HOLISTIC PHYSICAL THERAPY

The best patient treatment involves a holistic view of the individual. This incorporates the involved joint, the kinetic chain of movement, the power emanating from the core and the patient's abilities. It also incorporates the patient's lifestyle, commute, work requirements, home requirements, and sports and recreational activities. With these factors in mind, the therapist set realistic goals and achieve them based on adherence to each patient's personalized treatment plan.

Our approach incorporates manual therapies like Maitland/ Mulligan mobilizations with movement and Active myofascial release techniques as well as Yoga-based therapeutic exercises to inculcate best outcome for the clients.

WELLNESS FOR DANCERS

Every dancer once in their career, experiences pain and physical/emotional trauma that accompanies pain. Although dancers are found to have a resilient mind and body, they often fall prey to consequences caused by previous injuries and fear of recurrent injuries.This program is designed towards empowering dancers to take charge of their well-being and enhance quality of life throughout different genres.

Services will be offered through:

• Dance-specific Injury Management/Rehabilitation
• Assessing and Improving genre specific techniques
• Private sessions available
• Mental health awareness

Not enough time in the day for physical therapy with your hectic schedule?

We will come straight to your preferred location for your needs.
Each visit includes:

• One hour of treatment time which includes manual therapy, education, and exercise prescription.
• Workplace ergonomics Assessment.

All you need is a little motivation, all other equipments are not necessary for an effective training.

PREVENTATIVE CARE

Offered through:
• Total Body Diagnostics

Customized plan of care is developed after a thorough screening session to better assess your range of motion, strength, stability & balance. This allows us to effectively cater your health needs.

• Health Workshops

Through educational workshops, participants in a group practice skills, techniques, or ideas which they can use in their work or daily lives. Some common workshops conducted by E-Motion Physical Therapy are Postural Awareness in daily life, Selecting proper Footwear , Body Awareness in runners, Cross-training in dancers etc.

In General, a workshop can be a single 45 minutes class or a full two days program, depending on the requirements and topics selected by presenters.
